Good to know
Crime scene cleanup is an industry term. Over the years it has come to cover any hazardous cleaning after a death, injury or accident, and many of the jobs we do don’t involve a crime at all. Even after a natural death, police are often first on the scene, and that’s one of several reasons the name stuck.
Know this: if blood or bodily fluids were left anywhere at your home or business, we can help. We clean it, disinfect it and deodorize it with state-of-the-art odor removal, so the space is safe and livable again.
Plenty of cleanup companies take a message and schedule you for tomorrow. We don't. Our techs dispatch from our Racine industrial park location and are usually at your home in 15 to 20 minutes, ready to secure the area and begin.
Our services
From the first call to the rebuild, it’s our own trained technicians, our equipment and our plan, approved by you before we start.
Once police release the scene, we remove every trace of what happened and return the room to you clean, safe and documented.
Unattended and natural deaths at home. We remove what's affected, decontaminate every layer and clear the odor for good.
Quiet, private and gentle. We take care of the room so nobody in your family has to see it.
Violent crime scenes cleaned with care, including the evidence-related mess left behind after police finish.
Blood and bodily fluids after injuries, falls, accidents and medical emergencies, in homes, cars and workplaces.
Sharps, bodily fluids, drug residue and waste removed and disposed of under Wisconsin and Illinois rules.
Tear gas, pepper spray and OC residue lifted from walls, fabrics and air ducts after a police action.
Black, gray and magnetic print powder removed from doors, walls and furniture without spreading it.
Judgment-free cleanouts and ongoing help, with hidden biohazards handled safely and keepsakes saved.
When flooring, drywall or subfloor has to come out, we put the room back together. One company, start to finish.
Rentals, offices, stores, hotels and job sites. Scoped in writing, done after hours when needed.
Tell us what happened. We’ll evaluate it and tell you honestly what’s needed, and what isn’t.

Communication is key. Before any work begins, you know exactly what we’ll do and why.

How we got started
VerdaCrest started with one phone call. Someone needed a biohazard cleanup, couldn’t find anyone affordable, and had nowhere to turn. We did the job for free. Afterward we kept hearing the same thing: people needed this, and the way the industry worked wasn’t built around them. So we built a new way to do crime scene cleanup, where the customer’s needs come first.
That’s still how we work: we listen first, show you the plan, and only start when you say go. It’s why people around Racine keep talking about VerdaCrest.
Your needs come first. Everything else follows.
Reviews
Families, property managers and homeowners from Racine to Kenosha and Milwaukee County, in their own words.
We were completely overwhelmed and didn't know where to begin. The cleanup team explained everything before starting and treated our family with respect. They made a very difficult situation easier to manage.
They never made us feel rushed or uncomfortable asking questions. The crew took the time to explain what needed to be done and why. That meant a lot to our family.
What stood out most was how discreet they were. They were respectful of our privacy and focused on getting the work done professionally.
They were calm, organized, and respectful from beginning to end. During an already stressful time, having someone explain the next steps clearly made a big difference.
We needed specialized cleanup at one of the properties we manage. Communication was professional, the scope of work was explained clearly, and the team respected the property throughout.
I appreciated that they didn't ask unnecessary personal questions. They listened to what we needed, explained their work, and treated the situation with dignity.
